How do you graphically show DNA mutation?

A mutant part of our DNA is now known to be a cause of lung cancer. PITCH took an existing illustration of a DNA mutation, graphically enhanced it, and used specialist production techniques to make it appear as though the mutation was signaling. PITCH then incorporated this effect into the design of all the collateral material associated with this event.
